After reading "Visual Impact" by Liz McQuiston, I was inspired to design a poster for an issue that faces many Canadians (The high prices of everyday food items on northern first nations communities).

I wanted to raise awareness of the fact that indigenous issues in Canada are still very real, because I feel that many people think that the issues are no longer relevant.

I may end up making a series of these posters that will address overlooked issues facing today's indigenous Canadians.
