The main aim of the project was to design a packaging keeping 'wrapping' as a concept. The general problem faced by the craftsmen in India is that the craft is never given much value. So, I decided to take Rajasthani leather wallet as my product to promote art and craft of Rajasthan.
Ancient name of Rajasthan was Marudesha.
The logo and the motif will be block printed on the fabric.
Using famous Rajasthan leather to add value to the packaging.
The measurements are in mm.
Both the pieces of cloth will be snapped at two places. When the person receives the product he will not only get the wallet but also the handmade painting. The person unsnaps the second cloth from the first one and hangs it on the wall. The painting is a souvenir from Rajasthan for the person who is receiving the product.
The uniqueness of the packaging is that a part of it has an after life.
