Project Statement
Gukeng Coffee Cherry Jam is a jam manufacturer from Taiwan, where the firm locates at a rural town called Gukeng. The company provides jam products with unique production processes and high-quality materials. Further, the company wants to offer their customers with the most fresh, delicious and unique tastes that differs from every jams in the current market.
Concept Development
LOGO (TYPOGRAPHY)
In the final typography, Tepeno Sans bold and lower case Orator Std were used. The reason beyond choosing those two fonts was because the contrast between them were very strong while the spikes that added into the font was to keep more consistent with the calligraphy part, and also add a little bit retro feeling to the brand it self.
ILLUSTRATION
The illustration was created in hand drawn by pencil and arranged in the design softwares. Those graphics will be use on the packaging and deliverables design as an element. The reason of using the hand drawn style is to give more retro and oriental feelings to the brand, the shades while the lines also enhance the organic feels.

COMBINE THE ELEMENTS
The final step in this project was to create a main theme for the brand. The first idea ran into my head was the birthplace of the Brand, which is Taiwan. Further, the graphic of the Taiwan shape shows below was formed by all of the illustration elements. Surprisingly, the final result was quite amazing as the details on every single illustration that I created was neat and detailed. Therefore, a clear shape with strong contrast are shown in the final combination.
