My skate board design started with inspiration; I found that the boards I was most attracted to were either edgy or cartoon based, and I loved the boards that "had a message". I decided to go with the edgy vibe, so i used horns and the black background. I went with ram horns, because I am an Aries. For the girly flare i added the floral. To keep with the edge i used darker, yet muted, vintage colors in the floral arrangements. I also thought these colors and the type of floral I used gave the board a bohemian vibe with the horns. The top of the board is where the message comes in; the quote i chose is one that i heard a long time ago from a youtuber that deals with depression and anxiety. This quote has pushed me through a lot and always reminds me to stay strong when I feel my lowest. The quote reads, "destroy what destroys you", in my own hand lettering. This board is my aesthetic all the way through, and definitely speaks of my personality.
