This business card was designed for a Art 230 project using only typography. The process began with hand sketching ideas. Next, I refined some of those ideas and discovered more while sketching in Illustrator in black and white. A week or refinement and trying a few more ideas, using only black, white and gray, resulted in three designs. This week, I added color. It was fun to experiment with wild and different color combinations. I discovered several I am pleased with and would not have initially thought of. This, however, is my favorite because it most speaks to my personality.

This is a photograph I took of the real product. The corners a bit rough because I sliced them myself with a straightedge. Now that I know what they look like, I am ready to reinsert my personal details and have them printed.
