We were challenged to bring together two or more diverse groups of individuals for the greater good of world peace.

We decided to target Locally Socials, these are millennials in all 196 countries who only keep updated on local news, they have an activist mentality but they don’t act upon it, but most of all they love social media.

To unite this diverse group of millennials, we are bringing together the biggest rivals in social media for one day of peace.

Google Peace Day takes place on September 21st. For one whole day, Google Plus becomes Google Peace. Using your current social media, you are blocked from socializing with anybody you know for the day. You can communicate safely with individuals across the globe to learn more about their culture and spread peace globally.

Google Peace Day extends into the Google Doodle, as well as taking over the Facebook like button in exchange for a peace button.

On Twitter, a peace filter is put in place to make users think twice about what they’re posting and on Skype, users are reminded to spread peace within their community.

Snapchat features a global face swap, Instagram has Google peace card filters based on your location, and Oovoo lets you video chat your friends as a Google Peace Head Character.
