The original Legend of Zelda was the very first video game I ever played at the age of four, and I have been a die-hard fan of the series ever since. To commemorate the launch of Breath of Wild (and to help cope with the unbelievable hype, since I am not yet able to play it), I lovingly designed and illustrated this luscious map of Hyrule based on the world as it appears in Ocarina of Time. While the style appears to be reductively simple at first glance, like that of a children’s book, it is absolutely packed with details and loving references to a series that has been incredibly influential in my life.
