VETERANS DAY 2017

As a graphic artist, I have been proudly working in both the automotive and defense industries for over 40 years now.
I am grateful for our freedom and deeply respect those who have sacrificed everything for us in order to keep it."

For centuries, we humans have never run out of reasons as to WHY we fight. The many causes of great suffering, injustice, human rights, civil rights, the holocaust, the war on terror, the list has and will continue to go on and on.  I do not condone war and violence as a solution. We are naturally inclined to defend ourselves, our family, and what we hold dear in our lives. We all want to ensure our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and loved ones return home safely. So how can we apply this desire to a larger scale for our neighbors, community and country?

Albert Einstein - “The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.”

How do we convey that gratitude to our brave men and women in the armed services? How do we protect those who protect us including all first responders? For this reason I am working with the DOD & support Aerospace & Defense efforts.

For the past three decades, the "Soldier-Centric Survivability" & “Protect the Warfighter” approach that contributes to a greater cause, has inspired me to give my best both professionally and personally. It is with sincere hope that my outlook, passion, artistic and creative contributions to the defense community can make a very small, yet positive difference.

Thank you to those that serve, have served and gave the ultimate sacrifice for us.

Respectfully,
Doug Didia
