Theme: Depression
Developing an idea:
The first thing we discussed was where the story would take place. This is to help us visualize everything and add characters based on the environment. The problem here was that we both wanted different things. One of us wanted to go for a galaxy type of setting while the other wanted underwater adventure. In the end, we both compromised and joined the two. We ended up with an underwater/ galaxy setting.
After both agreeing on this. We moved to developing characters (doodling them over and over), giving them personalities and a bit of background. Slowly, we started to build a story and add plot points here and there until we got a solid story we were both satisfied (ecstatic!!!) with.
