We started with a black and white image of ourselves that we then had to cut up and create an abstract image of ourselves - the idea was to not think too much about it and parts randomly. 

We then had to redraw the the abstract portrait. I really enjoy Nick's workshops, it gives me the chance to create more hand rendered work which is something I like doing. We created some scans by photocopying the side of our faces and creating another abstract image from this. 

The final stage of the workshop was to focus on tone using ben day dots. I chose to use the first abstract image (this was on a bigger scale) and recreate the same image
