THE BRIEF
Indonesia's hottest band is coming to Malaysia. Was given the task create a custom page from scratch for airasiaredtix.com's webpage. The task was to write for Armada, as well as designing it. With a huge a fanbase in Malaysia, writing and designing for Armada was a task I was excited to accomplish. Also, this would be my first time designing a webpage and writing for it at the same time. *CHALLENGE ACCEPTED*
THE PROCESS
Designing
To keep the process as organised as possible, I first sketched a basic wireframe on a piece of paper. This helps me to prioritise what is most important and what needs to be tackled. Because the theme of the banner given by the client was black in colour with a few trigonometry-like shapes around it, I decided the theme should complement the look and feel throughout the page. I left certain spaces for placeholder texts before I started writing. The software I used to design this is Sketch and Zeplin
Writing
In light of their success in Indonesia, I wanted to write of the number of albums they have sold and highlight the awards they have won. The client was helpful enough to give a text from their side that should be on the webpage. Additional research was done to complement the already given text and expand it further.
THE OUTCOME
After many reviews and revisions from the Creative Director regarding the design, the final product was sent to the client for their approval. They were impressed by the look and feel of the design and were happy with the writing as well. Client happy, company happy :D
