PROPOSAL
The chosen site was the Melbourne Recital Hall on the first and second floor waiting areas.
The goal was to reflect the feature glass wall and the city within the interior.
The existing window draws the exterior views into the space.
The chosen site was the Melbourne Recital Hall on the first and second floor waiting areas.
The goal was to reflect the feature glass wall and the city within the interior.

Using panorama and framing, I added glass shards onto the existing frames. This used magnifying shards to magnify specific points of the city view to the inhabitants of the foyer.
The design proposed a polished aluminium render bolted onto the existing central wall. This material reflects the framed city within the interior.
