The goal of this project was to create a "Study Pod".  The design of this study pod was inspired by geometry that is present in nature.  An elongated, honeycomb inspired, hexagon and trapezoid pattern is repeated multiple times in the design. The goal of this study pod is to bring the outside in.  Students in and around the study pod will be able to experience the benefits of nature all year round.  Having a living green wall and vegetation in an indoor environment has many benefits to the public.  Green walls are shown to improve air quality, student’s alertness and energy levels and reduce noise levels.
