"Unbody" originated from a rather naive question: How could one visually depict the experience of a person whose boundaries of being are dissolving? The animated story follows the protagonist as they suddenly, and for no apparent reason, finds themself literally falling apart, melting into shifting layers of transparency. The protagonist's body comes to easily attach to other bodies (leaving annoyingly hard-to-clean globs on beds and tables); outside bodies (beer cans, bees, lint, twigs, etc.) also easily pass into their own. What does it mean to have a body? What sorts of privacy are associated with a body?

"Dango" was simply a gory play on one of my favorite sweet treats.

Short Animations

Samples of some of my past independent animations, some of which are very conceptual and one of which is just plain silly.
