This Editorial Illustration student project from many moons ago remains one of my favourite illustration projects to date. Our 3rd year class was given 3 articles on the sustainability and recyclability of waste materials. I chose the article on urine and its possible recycling uses (e.g. as a fertilizer for agriculture) and explored quirky visuals that could feature on the cover of The New Yorker magazine as well as an additional illustration.
