The Business Forum is an academic business journal from California State University, Los Angeles. Last year, the department in charge of this journal decided the journal’s design should be updated so that it would be more aesthetically pleasing. The layout of the journal follows a strict grid that results in a dynamic design scheme that can be adapted for future use. Full page color photos are used to promote visual interest; however, most pages are kept in black and white in order to keep printing costs low.
