The Silicone eye was developed in the studio of home accessories. It was supervised by Prof. Aysit Bostan and Nil Atalay.
The idea was to design a flexible lamp which allows the consumers to move it wherever they want. With silicone as a material the lamp can be cleaned easily. Additionally, the silicone effects a warm and scattered light which influences the room atmosphere in a positive way. As a cover a wooden lid is used. It is simply plugged into the silicone so that the bulb can be changed easily.
