Information Architecture and Design

The home page wireframe represents how the areas of the main page will be organised. It is designed to organise information in a clear and logical way incorporating space for dynamic content such as the newsfeed and events in a prominent space. The main body of the page will be taken up with the latest content publications from the Institute. In this way, the site will always be showcasing of the newest material produced by TAI reflecting the dynamic and prolific nature in which the organisation operates.
The content category page will contain in chronological order all the content belonging to a given category. Each piece of content will be presented with a summary and associated keywords, providing a teaser for the reader to click the entire article and read it. The social media sharing functions will also be present so that after just reading the summary the reader can make a decision to forward and share the content with others. There will also be a sort function at the top of the page allowing the content to be organised by type such as research, media release, and opinion piece or podcast material.
The content item/article wireframe allows readers to view easily the article on the screen, quickly share it with other. It also gives a number of options to view more related content by making direct suggestions of similar content in a side box as well as providing an option to view items by keywords associated with the article or a content category the item belongs to.
