Creation of the opening credits' for Fritz Lang’s movie Metropolis. Instead of using photographic images from the movie, we decided to animate the letters of the name Metropolis initially in a mechanical way and progressively towards a chaotic rythme according to the film tempo. We chose the Resistance typeface because its bevels and counterforms are reminiscent of buildings. These letters also represent machines and characters of the movie. We also mixed the music ourselves.
