For this project, I decided to connect back to my Iranian roots and create a tribute piece to my family. I have been surrounded by Iranian artwork and rugs from the 1930's-1960's, and I wanted to incorporate myself into a rug.

As far as completion goes, I would love to return to this piece to recreate the pattern of the rug by hand, or even place myself and the tiger in a real location.
