From this project, I learned more about shapes and lines and how I can creatively put them together to make intricate patterns. Some of the patterns I created were all lines, all shapes, or a mixture of both. When creating the patterns, it was difficult to make sure they lined up to form cohesive patterns, but after the first few, it got easier to make them so that they correctly lined up when duplicated. Additionally, when tracing my giraffe, I was able to improve my pen tool skills. At first, it was a bit of a struggle to outline each spot and all the curvatures of the giraffes body, but over the course of the project, I got much quicker at outlining everything. I even began understanding how far out and how angled the handles had to be to create the curves I wanted.
