Atmosphere is a reimagined serif typeface inspired by the Brother Grimm’s fairytales. With the Serifs extending out longer than usual, The breaks in the form where it connects from the bowl to the stem and the stoke weight staying cohesive through the entire typeface. The word ‘Atmosphere’ has many interpertations depending on the environment. Although this typeface was created to be a display font, it could be used in a multitude of ways.

This is a few of my rough sketches and my thought process as i figured out to make the strokes even and the serifs cohesive

This is a spread from my process book, when we transferred our sketches to Glyphs, i pulled out a few of the letters i thought expressed my typeface the best.
