Autonomous Vehicle System

This Autonomous Vehicle System was created during a sponsored project that included myself as well as two others. We created and designed the interior and exterior of a vehicle as if it were created in the year 2027. The vehicle was based in the megaregion Cascadia. Sponsored by Delphi, we were able to brand and prototype this idea using UI & UX applications. These applications allowed us to better the vehicle and enhance human lives.
This is an image of the built-out prototype from the final presentation. Using UI/UX design, we aimed to achieve the concepts we created for a futuristic experience in this build.
"Scout" was the name we called the AI that was inside of the vehicle. Taking note of our audience's "on-the-go" lifestyle, we wanted to create a mobile device that they could take with them everywhere. These images are a mock-up of what the interface would look like.
This device would assist the user almost like a mobile phone, but do even more. It can also record your emotions throughout your day. For example, if you are hiking and the view you are seeing is beyond what words can explain, it not only records what you see, it also records how you feel in that moment. You can experience that same thing later on in your vehicle and become fully immersed while doing so.
The backpack presented potential partners for Delphi when creating this level 5 autonomous vehicle. We created these products based on our audience's needs.
The backpack consisted of essentials of a Cascadian. From flashlights to granola bars, anyone who owns this vehicle will always be prepared!
The final step was to create a "take-away" for our clients. The pamphlet provided content of our concept: the interior, exterior, interface and the materials used.
