Earlier this year, I repainted some traditional arts.
The original version of these pictures are painted on "dó" paper, which is a traditional handmade paper dating back to 800 years ago in the north of Vietnam; mine was done on normal Canson paper though. According to the beliefs of an agricultural country like Vietnam, these babies hugging duck and chicken represent "prosperity" and "fame", respectively.
