I was given the opportunity to design the graduation sash for the Visual Communications program at Guam Community College. There were specific guidelines that had to be followed such as the specific colors and having to include the full name of the college. 

There were many different ideas about layout, colors, and fonts throughout the brainstorming and revising process. The final version that was decided was simple but allowed for the text to stand out best.

The final, physical sash design ended up using a serif font but the layout stayed the same.

The sash was used by students at their graduation on May 11, 2018. The design was also used as a template for the Marketing program's sash design as well.
