Ambi - The ambidextrous keyboard and mouse

Ambi
The ambidextrous mouse and keyboard.

The goal behind Ambi was to create a mouse and keyboard inspired by the legacy of Apple's design language that would cater to both left and right handed users. By doing so we fill a void left by an influx of products that were designed predominately for right handed users with left handed users left behind.

At the same time alleviating RSI conditions on our wrist by designing products that allow flexibility to switch between our dominant and not so dominant hands.

Research

In the beginning phase, it was still very lucid. The design brief in my head was to design a mouse and keyboard but it was the research that helped give the project direction and validated a lot of the thinking and reasoning behind the design decisions made during the process.
