Two of the initial concepts for the podcast logo. The blue and yellow represent Texas Impact's brand and logo.
The team voted for the second one.
There was concern about the blue coming from the bottom of the graphic, and the connection to the 'big wave' turning Texas democratic. So this graphic flipped the direction.
Went back to the drawing board, discussed branding and possible images to use instead of just abstracted colors.
The final design focused on the capitol building and the neutral (a-political) yellow.
