Research
The research involved diving into heritage Jordan aesthetic and doing a quick survey to know which classic Jordan shoe is most preferred by women.
Hard to carry footwear while travelling  |  Slippery insoles causing the foot to slip too far in or slip out  |  Being on-the-go demands easy and quick closure
PHYTOPLANKTONS   |   ADAPTABILITY   |   DANDELION
Greatest source of fresh air   |   Yara is able to adapt to different situations she's in   |   Light and spreads through air like Yara inspires through her voice

IDEATION PROCESS
FINAL DESIGN
HIGHLIGHTING MAIN FEATURES FROM THE SHOE AND SLIDE
Integration of the outsoles of the shoe and slide that are inspired by reflexology. The pods on the outsole of the slide pass through the voids on the outsole of the shoe for them to live together.
The transition showing how slide can be taken out of the shoe with the help of the zipper on medial side.
The final colorways developed for Jordan Cumulus by the Color + Material Designer, Haydee Franco.
The colorways take inspiration from Jordan's core colors and travel friendly colors while still keeping the uniqueness and femininity in them.

Prototyping process
The packaging takes inspiration from products in this collection and the theme. The idea was to make the user experience the feeling of pulling the product out of the box similar to when the slide is pulled out of the shoe. The box also contains card that are inspired by Jordan retro cards and airplane ticket and provide information about the product and steps to use them.
The distribution would take place at brick and mortar Jordan stores and through events on the International Women's Day partnering with Michelle Obama's education programme i.e. "Let girls learn". The event will host talks, discussions, workshops etc. and standouts would have special access to International Women's Day colorway.
