I created this New Yorker cover idea for the 2016 presidential elections. Rather than tackling the candidates themselves, the cover is about the session of voting itself and how younger voters may not be taking it seriously. The topic, idea, and image were inspired by a news article about celebrity Justin Timberlake taking a selfie inside of a confidential voting booth.
