In this student project, we had to create our own "Guernica"—something that angered or frustrated us in a poster form. As an American Christian, I am often frustrated by the politicization of religion and of the notion that there is one party that is "God's party." Jesus said that his kingdom is not of this world, but there are many American Christians who like to view America as God's new chosen nation. They would like to see a "Christian government," whereas Christ said to give to Caesar what is Caesar's. This is my response to those feelings.
