Teenage years are often glamorized as a time of your life where you discover yourself, where you explore, where you experiment. But in the midst of all the excitement and action there is fear and uncertainty. Fear of growing up and uncertainty of what is to come.
Over the last few months I have been working on a project called Teenage Fever, inspired by Petra F Collins, The Teenage Gaze. Spending five months or so, I followed around my friends/strangers trying to capture and portray the emotions, feelings, and lives of young teenagers, ranging from the ages of 13-19, through my eyes. From parties, to breakdowns in the school office, to late night subway rides, to the morning after. I hope you all enjoy.
