Movado Kitchen Products

Our final project was to take a luxury brand and create kitchen products using the same language as the luxury company. For this, I used the company Movado, and created a stovetop espresso maker, a teapot, a sugar mill, and a cup and saucer.

Using the simplicity of design, while still remaining elegant, I created the design that can be seen below of the family of objects.
This is the stovetop espresso maker, the material it is made out of is excellent at not conducting heat and thus allows for the lack of handle in the design.
The teapot, made from the same material as the espresso maker, also has no handles. It features the same pattern on the front as all the other objects, though the pattern on here is clear so that the amount of fluid in the teapot can be seen.
The sugar mill has a simple swivel tab on the lid in order to allow the sugar to pour out. The lid is simply unscrewed to refill the sugar.
The cup and saucer are the smallest of the objects, but make up for it in features. The cylindrical shape with slanted top are featured on both, though the cup hides a magnet in the false bottom, which holds it steadily to the saucer with the metal bottom.
