I had this @50cent album art idea after I first heard The Kanan Tape.  Around that same time, I was listening to the audiobook of The 50th Law and I gained even more respect for the famed rapper. I identify a lot with his ambitious and entrepreneurial nature and had a strong vision for this artwork which I don't normally have when starting a project.

Overall, I wanted to create this spec album art for my portfolio, to practice some 3D work, and as a thank you to 50 for the inspiration, motivation, and entertainment through his tracks over the years. I infused themes into this design that initially made 50 into a rap icon. Crack cocaine. 9 shell casings from when he was shot. 🗽5️⃣0️⃣🗽

I first had to trace 50's official logo in Illustrator (two versions)
