PROJECT BRIEF
This medal is composed by two hollow pieces, one made out of wood and another made of brass united by a hinge. The brass piece has a rim that works as a union complement to the hinge and it is where the caption “10º Aniversário Centro de Ciência Viva da Floresta|2007-2017” is placed. Inside the “box” (composed by the previously mentioned pieces) is a sphere with 35mm of diameter made out of paraffin (or resin) and plants.
This piece symbolizes nature protection, CCVF’s fundamental role in the environment. The sphere represents the core, the nature, the center of life and the box, its protection relationship, force and integration with nature.
