BTE comes from Best Tool Ever. Project discusses development of tools for hypothetical brand, screwdrivers in particular. Hand held products, hand tools especially, heavily depend on appropriate ergonomics, necessary CAD modeling skills (surface modeling) and materials knowledge. Apart of these primary topics, BTE screwdrivers were designed as modern, with respect to latest trends and technology in product design. First issue represents itself as unique pattern on black TPR area. Second issue relates to IoT (Internet of Things) which aims to implement some kind of inteligence into the tool. In this particular example such goal was solved with interchangeable RFID receiver which opens many opportunities for consumer i.e checking the BOM at the end of the job or shift. RFID receiver can be ordered in different colors and be used in other BTE hand tools like hammers, pliers and so forth, which are designed in this particular item in mind.
