Project 1: Cameo/ Caricature
CAMEO
In this Cameo assignment is to create an artwork of myself in to the Cameo art style. I choose to create the black and white Cameo and the inspiration for the from is Greek style. I choose to use the white negative space for the ellipse cause i want to create something modern and simple. The stroke i chose for this Cameo frame which to give the vintage appearance.
Material: Ipad pro, Apple pen, iPhone, MacBook Pro, Creative Cloud, Adobe Draw, Adobe Illustrator CC 2017, Behance, Apple PC.
Process: First, i took a picture of my-self and then opened it on Adobe Draw in iPad pro. Then i used the apple pen to draw it. After i finish the drawing i saved it to Creative Cloud and opened it on Adobe Illustration to design more version of the Cameo.
CARICATURE
This assignment is the second part of the project the purpose is to recreate photo of a person into an Caricature artwork.
In this assignment, i try to mimic the Caricature art style by designing her nose, eyes, mouth, face into Caricature style. I asked my friend about her hobbies and she said she like dancing so I asked her to do something that she uses to do when she dances. Then she starts to stand with the hand on the hips. I chose to design her custom by myself cause I want to challenge myself also improve my drawing skill. For her custom, I chose the red color for her shirt and white color for the skirt, I chose this because I want to create the contrast between two colors and catch more attention.
How it was produced
For both assignments i have use a lot of materials like Adobe Draw, Adobe Illustrator, iPad, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camera form iPad and iPhone. Also, it all base on the drawing skill and the way i chose to design.
Conclusion:
Through this project the most interesting in this assignment i was exciting about the Adobe Draw app cause i was really surprise when we used the iPad draw. First, when i started to used that app it kind a little bit of confuse because i kind off didn't know what to do when i first have the iPad and also i was very nervous about how to draw and design things through the iPad. However, after start to play around with the iPad and the app i start to explore about some trick which might help me to draw easier like using finger to get the line better than using a pen, or capture the color you want by hold the color bar then move it to the part that you want to capture the color to design you picture. Moreover, the Adobe Draw app was really cool cause you can download it not on the iPad but also to any devices you want like your phone and it really helpful when i use it on my phone to draw and design every thing on the way to school or went back home. Overall, i find out it really helpful for my future skill because if i know lot of skill that base on drawing it really help me for my future studying or applying to job.
