Whole Foods Market
Gingerbread facade for Christmas

We used white and red paint for trim and white velcro to attach to the glass. The cardboard to make the gingerbread came from boxes from large shipments in the store.

Smokehouse sign

Like Texas, Oklahoma is also know for BBQ. This store had it's own smokehouse and smokehouse bar, where guests could purchase a variety of meats, sides, and soups. Store leadership felt that it needed a call out, since the other hot bars are on the other side of the store. I used various textures to make the sign seem aged.

Ice Cream Social Store Event

One year, there was a Global event called "Ice Cream Social" where we we able to chat with guests over ice cream. Our Demo Specialist, who is also a chef, created many different items than just scooping ice cream, and she asked if we (my Associate Graphic Artist and I) could create a focal point that she could use to hand out her ice cream creations. We painted cardboard and created graphics using the files we were sent. We used paper tubes from our plotter printer for the striped poles.

Cherry Fest Ferris Wheel

Cherry Fest used to be every July. One year, the look (you can somewhat see on the sale sign above) was cherries as the seats of a Ferris Wheel. This store has a large produce section, and our Produce Team Leader wanted something eye catching, so we created a Ferris Wheel drawing inspiration from the illustration. We used a dowel rod in the middle, so it could actually spin.

Endcap boxes

To draw more attention to the type of products on endcaps, I was asked to see if I could make a less expensive option to the wooden boxes some stores were ordering. I used coroplast and j-rail clip strips on the the top and bottom, then made enough of each type of insert for my grocery team to be able to switch out easily and whenever they needed to.

Whole Kids Foundation endcap

Using brand standard and given toolkit, I collaborated with my grocery team to build this endcap. They chose products that benefit the Foundation, and I created the shelf blocker, topper insert, and vertical strips.

Table centerpiece for Chef's Feast event (benefitting OKC Food Bank)\

Each year, the Store Marketing and Prepared Foods teams brainstorm about the theme and dishes they are going to use to participate in the Chef's Feast. 2016's theme was Gameday and Tailgating, so I designed and built a stadium end with a jumbotron. All pieces are stacked on cardboard to give depth. The jumbotron and forward are made to sit on the front of the metal stand (hidden behind the goal post) and the stadium backward is on the backside of the metal holder. The stadium lights are Christmas lights and are lit up.
