Saving Sea-Turtles

The redesign of this project has been very fun and rewarding. Rebranding this organization really gave a new perspective on what this brand could really be and do. The Saving Sea-Turtles benefit concert is an event that is focused on the awareness of Sea-Turtles and the condition they are in. The audience for an event like this has a love and passion for sea-life and is eco-friendly. Above is the logo which was hand written in Adobe Illustrator using the brush tool. The sub-header brings in a pop of color along with a friendly
sea-turtle. The logo is always a representation or a first impression of the event and when looked upon, it should give a wave or ocean feel.
This image represents my overall feel and mood of the brand itself. I wanted to capture something that was overall chill and fun; the colors that were chosen bring the beach, sunset, and tropical theme.
Wires & Design Comps
Below are both the wire designs and real life replicas of the website design. I really wanted to go for a different look with the navigation bubbles at the bottom and give everything a free standing feel. These designs were created in Adobe Photoshop, which is a personal favorite because it was the first adobe program learned and it's easiest to draft free flowing designs. The overall concept was to have a site that was easy to navigate but be different on the eye. The color pallet came out perfect on the site and really gave a sunset, concert feel.
Logo Animation & Commercial
Below are the logo animation and commercial; the logo animation does have a similar design as my previous animation, however I did make changes that were necessary that I believe really brought the whole animation together as one. I created this animation in Adobe After Effects, since i'm still new to after effects, I did use a tutorial to help me but overall I was able to add the bones of the animation by myself. Once viewed the animation should give off a fun wave! I do believe that I could have added better colors, however the animation came out great.
The commercial; for this design I wanted to make sure and cover all ground and make sure that the audience understands what the concert is, why is it happening, and how to get there. It was created in Adobe Premier Pro and still unfinished, however if the project were to be finished it would explain all of the important details, but give the audience something to look forward to.
Questionnaire
Creating the questionnaire was a great experience. I needed my target audience to answers these important questions in order to help direct me in making best finishes on the website as possible. Below I have uploaded images of the questions and my thought behind them. I really appreciated this assignment because it helped me to express why I chose to ask the questions that I asked. I do realize that I should have chosen some more in depth questions, however I do appreciate the honest responses I received.
Below I have added the responses and I got a 50/50 divide because I only had 4 responses and out of those 4 the users were torn. Like I stated earlier it would have been a little more beneficial if I would have made my questions a little more specific. I also realized that for 2 of my questions I didn't add a value for the number chosen
Based off of this assignment, I have to say that I really appreciate getting the responses that I did because it helps to mold me into creating things that more users would appreciate. I do realize just because I may like something, doesn't mean that the target audience will. Thank you!
