The Black and White Dragons

These illstrations are part of a much bigger project that i have in mind. I'm trying to design a series of characters and quirky personalities that could then fit into a deck of cards.
This deck of cards will then be introduced inside my classes (as a kindergarten career) where the kids will need to pick randomly a card, or multiple of them, and create a narrative that connects the characters that have been picked.
This way i want to introduce an instrument that will allow me to experiment and evolve the creative thinking and imagination of the class.
Each character has a little back story, but when the card becomes part of the game what the child thinks is the important thing.

These two are what i called the "odd" dragons.
What if dragons, such powerfull and scary creatures, are actually harmless and a bit eccentric?
The first one is the "Black dragon". Very shy, whit a deep black skin he likes to fly when the sky is clear during sunny days. Because of this he is easily spotted by humans and other creatures that follows him trying to look at him even better, popping his bubble of introversion.

Just a sketch that became what i think could be the final design of the dragon
Sketches where the dragon still had wings on
What i think could be the final design and composition of the card of the "Black Dragon"
Then the white dragon came. She is a calm and relaxed creature that likes to take long naps in the depths of the underground. The only problem is her natural and constant ability to emanate light from within her body. Her naps are always interrupted by some goblins are other animals.
Sleeping as usual
