50 years ago, Hans Rasmussen was diagoniseret with bipolar disease. 
Its a mental disorder which brings periodic mood changess, deep depression 
and hyperactivity. It has had a great impact on his life, and brought him 
an early retirement as well as repeated admissions to mental hospitals,
both voluntarily and involuntarily. When hyperactive, he paints unstoppable. 
This has resulted in hundreds of paintings. He is daily medicated with 
several kinds of medicine and he rarely leave his home due to his condition.
