Welcome to The Party
Project for my Intermediate Vis.Comm.II class, we were given a series of design articles to choose from. I chose Ellen Lupton's essay The Producers. What I took from this essay was the idea of the democratization of design. It discusses how, due to emerging technologies we are seeing a revolution in design, where now more and more people can get in and easily try their hand at design.
My response was called Welcome to the Party, just to say what's up new people, welcome to the club welcome to the party. To commincate this idea I threw a party, I used legos, because I thought they were a good metaphor for graphic designers. They are free and expressive, yet orderly and modular.

I wanted to communicate my perspective, and share my expereince of reading through this text. To communicate this idea I went around and highlighted the pieces of infomation, that I highlighted when reviewing the essay, to write my own response to it.
