The Lankan Diary.
The journey in photography has proven to be strenuous, consistently evolving and that which demands constant reinvention. Travel Photography is one of the things that makes me happy since there are no holds barred and it kind of helps to find new ways to frame things, newer ways to see everyday life and also understand how to document cultures and people.
One of the things that I've always wanted to do was a photo series. It's like getting a lump out of your creative insides. On a journey of many more photo series' that I have promised myself to embark on, this is a first.
The set or series of images are individual stories by themselves. During my visit to Sri Lanka, I had the opportunity to climb mountains, travel in tuk tuk's, understand the love for the Buddha and even watch a Cricket match with the locals. In a short span of 5 days me and my dad travelled north from Colombo to Jaffna.
