"immersion"
The mural painting "immersion" was specially created for the Present Perfect Festival, which was held in Port Sevkabel (Saint Petersburg) this year.
In a large-scale painting, two main motives were proposed: the sound wave and the sea theme. The work is perfomed in turquoise shades, which give a hint to the color of water of a sea, and water depicted as an intergral part of space. It is also intresting that this color is complimentary or oposite to the red brick, from which most of the buildings in the port of Sevkabel are built. The comprehension and depiction of water and its fluidity as a philosophical issue is combined with the rhythm of the details of the composition for the purpose to ring the bell of the rythms of the electronic music.
