Meusinvest is active in assisting the financing of SMEs and supports them in their development. Based in Liege, the offices were extended in 2017 to the neighboring building, the Lombard 1, completely renovated by the architects Hebellinck and Wit.

The objective of Meusinvest is to become a Liege center dedicated to technological businesses, a digital neighborhood in the city center. It also hosts the Fablab which takes place on the ground floor.

During the reflection phase of the layout of the first floor, we were asked to design a multifunctional space, which would be complementary with the traditional workstations.

As the entire floor is bordered by large windows letting in natural light, we chose to work with the idea of a landscaped office. The open space is organized around a central amphitheater composed of both fixed wooden furniture and rigid and flexible foam to adapt the configuration to all situations. Perforated wooden are standing next to the workstations, keeping a quiet atmosphere for the workers and letting circulate the light through. The furniture and colors are intended to be warm and Lacobel plates delimit a creative zone.

You can also find a meeting room, voluntary secluded for offering the isolation needed for more formal meetings.
