Murals in the Market 2018
The Devil is a Liar & CheyennexGold
I was invited to participate in the 2018 Murals in the Market Festival. After accepting the invitation, I used my social platforms to let my followers pick my next mural. The illustrations were from my #ImagoDeiArt series. A series that focuses on the term Imago Dei- ("image of God"): A Christian theological term, applied uniquely to humans, which denotes the symbolical relation between God and humanity. The term has its roots in Genesis 1:27, wherein "God created man in his own image. . ." This scriptural passage does not mean that God is in human form, but rather, that humans are in the image of God in their moral, spiritual, and intellectual nature.  The 'CheyennexGold' illustration was the most popular vote and it was painted for Murals in the Market Festival in Detroit, MI held by 1xRun. After outlining the piece I was gifted a second wall by the festival and I painted my 'The Devil is a Liar' hand-lettered piece. It was a fun festival I met people and made great connections. I loved painting with my homie/painting assistant Ryan Wright, thanks for all your help.
