During the month I was doing my routine Twitter trawl, looking for contacts and other artists, I came across the Discolouring book, a collective of Black and white artwork from various artists, I looked into it a bit further and realised that I wanted to be involved with it, if they would have me. I burned though a fair few sketches, and although some were okay, nothing of the bunch really inspired me to take them further, I was getting more and more frustrated at this so I stopped, took a break from the drawing board and went to watch a film.
The film was Evil Dead, a film which I had Shamefully never seen before and it was awesome. I immediately wanted to draw something from it, so I went straight back to my drawing board and drew my favourite scene.
Can't place my finger on why exactly, but I thought that was an awesome piece of horror movie iconography.
Heres the end product, a 1 colour print, just black on white, no grey. Hopefully it gets included in the next issue of discolouring book!
