Taken in Downtown Toronto. My friends and I were exploring Nuit Blanche, like we do every year, and came across a group of animal rights activists advocating veganism. This group represents the organization Anonymous for the Voiceless. These activists weren't apart of the arts festival, but something about this group caught my attention. Their silence. This gave a visual impact to public onlookers. Many protesters are loud and disruptive, trying to make their voices heard and capture attention. What I realized is, even silent protests capture attention, make huge impacts, and can convince others of their beliefs.
