Behind-the-scene: Someone challenged me to stay out of my comfort zone for this plate. All these years I would only design forms that would be appealing to the mass and use typical color combinations like black and white, etc. I tried to make an artsy take on this product with specific shape inspiration that would be bold but eye-catching. It was a difficult process because of insecurities, one of them is the need for sure approval. After all, I am glad I get to experience this project. I realized that mindset makes me boring. It is okay, but that hinders the exploration.
