Rotonda, a campaign for violence against women

"Rotonda"

Sexual harassment is the act of committing non-consensual sexual advances to a certain individual. Both males and females from different ages have been a victim of this. It has been rampant everywhere, and it is only getting worse.

Rotonda, is a short film about sexual harassment in public places. The story revolves around two close-knit siblings, who later on will realize the true meaning of sexual harassment and how it affects one person's daily life. The older sibling is a sexual predator who shamelessly committed non-consensual sexual contact inside a public vehicle. The way he did it was so casual that it will make you wonder, how many times did he performed this inappropriate act? He received a slap in the face but will it really stop him from doing it again? What will happen if his younger sibling was sexually harassed too? What will he feel? Watch the short film below and find out.

Rotonda was submitted to Safe Cities Padayon Short Film Competition hosted by UN Women during its 18-Day campaign to end violence against women and sexual harassment.

Rotonda won the grand prize in the short film category and got 2nd place in most viewed/liked film.
