For ENGGEN 115 Design Project 2, we were assigned to design and discuss a device that assists with stroke rehabilitation. Our group, ExoWorks, designed the AssistONE, an exoskeleton device that assists arm loss movement by using inertial measurement units and a brushless motor to detect when a user is attempting to move their arm, and provides additional torque to assist with the movement.
